Kayakoy, which is sheltered in Turkey, is an abandoned village called a ghost town. It used to be a lively and dynamic village, but today, an outdoor museum that evokes memories It’s done, and it also tells the story of a haunting history. The area is fascinated by the past, including the Telmesos ancient theater, the magnificent royal tomb, and the historic remains of the ancient city of Tloth. Relics are located. Kayakoy said, “The now abandoned houses, churches, and cobbled streets remind us of the cultural richness left by those who left the area, giving the village a mysterious and unique atmosphere. Inside the village, small chapels are scattered among the houses, which allow residents to worship.
In order to provide easy views of Kayakoy on a large site, the road that was previously used as a major route. Two large axes are used, and another large axis is connected to the highest elevation, for a total of three. I designed a large axis and built a bridge, and it landed on the floor in between so that people could explore Kayakoy in detail, read a book, or something like that. The history and culture of Turkiye and Kayakoy were allowed to be viewed.
The building, which was broken and left only traces, was restored while maintaining the shape of the existing building so that people could see the history and culture of Kayakoy in the space. On the existing map of Kayakoy, the journey we propose was also viewed as a map and a grid was placed. The planned building and bridge were placed on top of it to complete the overall form.
Not only the bridge we installed, but also the view of Kayakoy can be seen by cable car.
Lines of movements came out of the high ramp at various lengths and were landed on the floor, making it more convenient for people to come out of the high ramp where they wanted to go and land on the floor so that people could watch Kayakoy at their desired location more conveniently. It was made possible to inspect.
